Trainings/Workshops
CorStone staff and professionals within the community provide a range of workshops throughout the year to help build life skills and support people dealing with major life transitions. Professional trainings for medical professionals and educators are also provided for those seeking CEUs.
Life Skills Workshops
Our Life Skills workshops are designed to provide education, empowerment and personal connection to those seeking useful tools and support to make positive healthy choices in their lives, develop resiliency and confidence, or exploration of new ways of being and ‘living a life worth living’.
Most Life Skills workshops meet on weekends, with some evening and monthly workshops also available. Registration is available online. Click here for Program Schedule.
Life Transitions Workshops
Our Life Transitions workshops are designed for those dealing with major changes in their lives, such as loss of a loved one, life-threatening or chronic illness, extended caregiving, or divorce. These workshops balance a mix of gentle education and skill building with facilitated peer support and sharing, ensuring that a safe environment for disclosure and validation is maintained for all.
Please note that a confidential intake is required before registration in any Life Transitions workshop. Please contact us at 415-331-6161 x108. Your call will be returned by a qualified Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (MFTI) within one business day.
Most Life Transitions workshops meet weekly on a fixed-session basis, with some evening and monthly workshops also available. Current offerings include:
- Attitudes for Healthy Living Study Group
- Chronic Pain Group
- Grief & Bereavement Group

Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are held onsite at the CorStone Center in Sausalito, CA. For all weekend workshops and trainings, we request that you bring a lunch with you (no food in workshop rooms). Please respect those with sensitive conditions and observe our scent-free policy. Thank you!
