Catherine Stern

Co-Director, Project Grace

Catherine Bowen Stern is an accomplished writer who started her career as a copywriter in marketing services and advertising.  She went on to get her MFA in Writing with an emphasis on short stories and fiction.  She began her involvement at the Center for Attitudinal Healing in 2003 as a Home and Hospital visitor and currently volunteers in the Children's Program for bereaved children and parents.

Catherine has sat on the Board of Directors since 2006 and  was inspired to start Project Grace with Carole Mahoney to bring together parents who have lost a child for the purpose of serving a community in need. Catherine lives in Mill Valley with her husband and two daughters.
